Proteomatic tells me that it needs Ruby. Where can I get it?

Ruby is required to run the Proteomatic scripts, and it can be downloaded at http://www.ruby-lang.org.

How can I completely remove the .deb package?

When you use the .deb package of Proteomatic, the following directory will be created to hold all scripts, settings, and external tools: ~/.proteomatic. This directory will remain even after you have removed the package, so in order to get rid of it, please delete it manually. If you know how to resolve this issue and have the directory deleted automatically upon package removal, please tell us.
