Doctoral enrolment

If you would like to earn a doctorate at the University of Münster, enrolment is required.

To begin the enrolment process, please complete the online enrolment for doctoral programmes here within the deadlines listed below. Within the online enrolment portal, you will be asked to upload confirmation of doctoral supervision and other documents. Further documents are usually your previous qualifications or the documents required for doctoral studies in your subject in the doctoral regulations. You can find the doctoral regulations relevant to you in your department.

Enrolment for a winter semester is possible from August until 15 November,

Enrolment for a summer semester is possible from February to 15 May of the year.
