DAAD Ulysseus Setting Sails

Ulysseus Setting Sails is part of the national support programme "European University Networks (EUN) - National Initiative" for the "European Universities" programme of the EU Commission and is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

Ulysseus Setting Sails makes an important contribution to the visible establishment of the University of Münster in the Ulysseus University Alliance.

The aim of the project is to establish effective long-term structures and support systems within the University for sustainable cooperation in the Ulysseus University Alliance, to further develop the internationalisation of studies and teaching, and to position the University of Münster as an excellent research location and strengthen its international visibility. To this end, the project comprises the following four core areas

  1. internationalisation and digitalisation of administrative structures
  2. strengthening the European dimension in research and teaching
  3. promotion of young researchers and career support
  4. promotion of public relations and civic engagement in the innovation hub "Socio-Ecological Sustainability".
