On Thursday, April 10, 2025, 120 graduates and their companions were invited to the castle's auditorium for a festive graduation celebration.
The event was moderated by AOR Dr. Barbara Halberschmidt and Dominik Krüßmann, while Andreas Sornig – Head of Sports at the Münster District Government – delivered the keynote speech. In addition to the successful bachelor's and master's degrees and the doctoral candidates of the last academic year, Prof. Dr. Dennis Dreiskämper and Dr. Valeria Eckardt were also honored for their outstanding research achievements. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Heiko Wagner presented a special award to the Institute of Sports Science in celebration of its 100th anniversary this year. The KFWN, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Nils Neuber, was responsible for the overall organization. Steffi Dahl, Tim Berg, and Markus Jürgens, in particular, contributed to the success of the event through their support.
Special highlights of this year's graduation ceremony included the athletic intermezzo presented by the duo Gravity Acrobatics and the vocal performance by Taily.
