Thanks to the Santander Mobility Fund, with their generous support, I could attend the Annual Meeting of the German Physiological Society (103rd), Austrian Physiological Society and Life Sciences Switzerland (LS²) Physiology in Vienna, a leading conference in the field of physiology. This conference brought together leading experts in the field of physiology, covering a range of topics such as cardiovascular function, neural and renal physiology. This was a great opportunity for me to engage with experts and their pioneering research and gain recognition for my own research work. Presenting my research here was an invaluable experience, and I was honoured to receive a Poster Award, a recognition that emphasized the impact and quality of my research work.
I attended the keynote sessions on ion channel complexes, pulmonary physiology, and cell signalling in disease models, which provided relevant insights and methodologies that could enrich my work in cystic fibrosis research. Moreover, I presented my research findings that allowed me to connect with experts, receive valuable feedback and explore collaborative opportunities to enhance my electrophysiological studies in cystic fibrosis.
Attending the DPG Annual Meeting was an inspiring and insightful experience that not only enhanced my knowledge but also refined my presentation skills, and provided key networking opportunities. I am sincerely grateful to the Santander Mobility Fund for enabling this opportunity which made this experience possible.
