Thanks to the generous support of the Santander Mobility Fund, I attended the 103rd Annual Meeting of the German Physiological Society (DPG), held jointly with the Austrian Physiological Society and Life Sciences Switzerland (LS²) Physiology in Vienna. This conference brought together leading experts across physiology, covering a wide range of topics such as cardiovascular function, neural physiology, and renal physiology. It was a tremendous opportunity to engage with experts, explore pioneering research, and gain recognition for my own work. Presenting my research was invaluable, and I was honored to receive a Poster Award, a recognition that highlights the impact and quality of my work.
I attended keynote sessions on ion channel complexes, pulmonary physiology, and cell signalling, gaining insights and methodologies directly relevant to my research in cystic fibrosis. Presenting my findings also allowed me to connect with experts, receive valuable feedback, and explore collaborative opportunities to advance my electrophysiological studies.
Attending the Deutsche Physiologische Gesellschaft (DPG) Annual Meeting was an inspiring and insightful experience that enriched my knowledge, refined my presentation skills, and provided key networking opportunities. I am sincerely grateful to the Santander Mobility Fund for making this experience possible.
