The Student Advisory Office at the Department of Psychology is the first point of contact for prospective students with questions concerning our degree programmes BSc Psychology, MSc Psychology, MSc Psychology with specialisation in clinical psychology and psychotherapy, the interdisciplinary MSc Cognitive Neuroscience programmes, as well as for doctoral projects at the Institute of Psychology. The Student Advice and Counselling Centre (ZSB) supports you during the transition from school to university (e.g. with choosing courses and preparing for your studies) and providing ongoing academic advice. The ZSB can help you find solutions to individual problem. Based on your personal and social situation, we provide information and guidance, and work with you to determine possible courses of action. The ZSB offers consultation hours with and without appointments where you can get answers to all your questions concerning your studies.

International applicants should contact the staff at the International Office for questions concerning beginning one’s studies in Münster (e.g. language courses, residence permits, visas etc.).

Central coordination office for studying with a disability: Studying often means starting a more independent life, meeting new people and having new experiences. But it can also mean overcoming new challenges and obstacles. For students with impairments, disabilities and/or chronic illnesses, this often requires increased organisational and personal effort. The University of Münster strives to provide all students with the same opportunities for academic success and to promote equal and self-determined participation not only at university, but also in social life.
