Eden? Plants between Science and Fiction
Since May 2021, doctoral candidates from the GSPoL and MA students from the Philology department have been preparing an exhibit that is now entering the phase of concrete planning and implementation. The project deals with the representation and functionalization of plant agency and intelligence, the analysis of contemporary climate science fiction and the potential of the genre to invent new worlds and future scenarios. The exhibit will be on display in the Orangery of the Botanical Garden from May 15 to 29, 2022.
Updates and insights into the progress and current status of the project can be found on the homepage of the exhibit as well as on Instagram (eden_plantsinscifi) and Twitter (@edenplantsscifi).
