The GS PoL is pleased to announce a short workshop and briefing for students, considering a PhD in literary studies. The event will provide information on where and how to begin your application and planning for a dissertation.
Writing a personal statement and a detailed exposé for a PhD application is probably one of the most important steps of the application process. The Graduate School 'Practices of Literature' offers a briefing with Prof. Dr. Cerstin Bauer-Funke and Dr. Anna Thiemann on preparing your application process, giving key tips for understanding what an exposé and a personal statement is and how to write one for your PhD.
