When medicines are in short supply...
For months, medicines such as ibuprofen or fever juices for children have no longer been available in Germany. Even substitute products are often not available. How could this happen? Prof. Dr. Klaus Langer provides answers to this question. He is a pharmacist and director of the Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy at the University of Münster (WWU). He sees the shortage with concern: "If you look at which medicines are affected - often basic medicines like antibiotics - it is alarming for an industrial nation like Germany."
In the WWUcast, press officer Norbert Robers spoke with Prof. Langer about this topic.
