An Evening discussion
Thursday, 10.11.2022 at 5.30 p.m. in the large lecture hall PharmaCampus (Corrensstraße 48)
On 10.11., as last in 2019, a discussion evening on the topic of "Women in Pharmaceutical Leadership Positions" will take place. The event is aimed specifically at (post)-doctoral students and female students in the 7th and 8th semesters of pharmacy.
The background of the event is the strong underrepresentation of women in pharmaceutical management positions despite the actually high number of female graduates in pharmacy. The need for women in management positions does not only concern the scientific sector, but also the field of work in the pharmaceutical industry and public pharmacy. At the discussion evening, three discussion partners from the three main fields of activity for female pharmacists (industry, public pharmacy and science) will answer the audience's questions on the topics of "balancing family and career", "career planning", etc.
The evening will be moderated by a professional moderator who will first introduce the career and life concepts of the discussion partners. After the event, there will be a small get-together with snacks and drinks, giving participants another opportunity to talk privately with the discussion partners and exchange ideas.
