Registration Period

Here you can find the current registration phase in Qispos and SAP SLcM:

21 Octoberl 2024 to 13 December 2024

Cancellations are possible until 7 January 2025.

Some faculties provide alternative deadlines (e.g. for registering for examinations). The individual registration periods are normally listed with each registration.

Important

After the QISPOS/SAP SLcM registration period has ended, you may only withdraw from an examination for “good reason”. When a student withdraws for “good reason”, the Examinations Office treats the matter as if the student had never registered for the respective examination at all. If the student cannot or does not provide “good reason” for withdrawing, the respective examination is marked as “insufficient” (5.0).

Please bear in mind that withdrawing for “good reason” can only be recognised if the responsible Examinations Office is notified immediately, i.e. without undue delay. This means that it is:

a) notified no more than one work day after the degree-relevant examination was administered, and
b) plausibly substantiated no more than three working days after the degree-relevant examination was administered.

To plausibly substantiate your inability to complete the examination due to illness, you must submit an original doctor’s certificate confirming your illness and the explanation for your withdrawal to the Examinations Office. You can drop these documents into the deadline postbox (Schlossplatz 2) or send them to us by mail. To reduce the risk of infection to our staff, we kindly ask you to refrain from handing them in in person. If you send them by mail, the date of the postmark is considered the date of notification. Please write legibly to ensure rapid delivery.

Later submission of the doctor’s certificate without advance notice by telephone is only possible if you can substantiate that the delay was caused through no fault of your own (longer hospital stay while unconscious etc.) The doctor’s certificate must be issued on the day of the degree-relevant examination, or, when providing substantiated proof, no more than one day after the degree-relevant examination.
