Thunderbird setup

If your Thunderbird loses settings with every restart, you have to carry out the following steps.

Enter the following as a path:

N:\Software\Internet\Thunderbird\38.3.0de\thunderbird.exe  –p

Now, press enter.

 

Now you see the profile manager.

Choose Create Profile... to start with the assistant.

Enter the desired name of the profile.

Click on Choose Folder...

Navigate now to your profile folder.

If you want to use the empty default folder, go to I:\init\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles and choose the profile, that is located here by default.

If you want to use your NWZnet profile, copy it from your NWZnet profile into your NWZ profile and add it under I:\init\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles. Now choose the profile copied by you.

Now click on Completion.

Choose the profile created by you and pay attention to the hook being set under Use chosen profile at every start without question.

Click on Start Thunderbird. Thunderbird will now use the chosen profile at every start and save any changes in it.
