Please carry out a reboot before the installation.
In order for the installation to start, an administrative logon must have taken place and the Cisco Secure Endpoint Installer must have been copied to the client.
Note: Each Cisco Secure Endpoint Computergroup uses its own installation package.
Start the installation package as administrator or from an administrative CMD. In the standard configuration, the installer uses the proxy address: https://www.uni-muenster.de/proxy.pac
Start the installation by clicking the "Install" button.
Cisco is installed in the foreground and downloads other required components from Cisco.
After a few minutes, the installation process is complete.
The Task Manager will gradually list some processes that are part of Cisco Secure Endpoint installation.
When the installation is complete, Sophos updates automatically in the background.
Click “Close” to confirm and complete the installation. At this point, you can optionally create an icon to call up the client on the desktop.
Restarting the computer is not absolutely necessary, but is recommended.
The configuration and administration of the client is defined in the respective instance at https://console.eu.amp.cisco.com/dashboard and updated in the background.
