Mathematica is a software package from the Wolfram Research company and represents one of the most widely used mathematical and scientific program packages. The package contains, among other things, a computer algebra system, numerics software, a visualization tool for plotting graphs, and a programming language that combines elements of procedural, object-oriented, functional, and rule-based programming.
