 VLC media player is a portable media player software for both various audio, video codecs and file formats as well as DVDs, video CDs and supports various streaming protocols and interfaces for TV cards. It can also be used as a server for streaming in unicast or multicast, in IPv4 and IPv6 networks, or as a transcoder for the supported video and audio formats, and in desktop output it is equipped with real-time effects such as image rotation and mirroring, color correction and cropping.
