 Endpoint security is an approach to protecting computer networks that are remotely connected to client devices. The connection of endpoint devices such as laptops, tablets, cell phones, etc. to uninversity networks creates points of attack for security threats. Endpoint Security seeks to ensure that such devices adhere to a certain level of standard compliance. Sophos Endpoint Security combines malware detection and exploit protection plus endpoint detection and response (EDR).
