GeneDoc is available on the following platforms:

•  Windows

  1. Citrix
     You can use GeneDoc via the  terminal server nwzCitrix.
     
  2. DFS
     You can open GeneDoc on every computer of IVV Naturwissenschaften from the start menu and the biology folder.
     

GeneDoc allows you to edit, analyze and shade FASTA sequences. It provides you with a large set of tools and reports. You can use it to view alignments, analyze protein structure and generate quick reports.The goal of the program is to display the protein structure and the sequences contained in the imported file. It can import Phylip, Pearson FASTA and Clustal ALN files to add new sequences to the list. You can arrange the sequences and use different shading modes to highlight specific structures.
