Anaconda is an open source distribution for the Python and R programming languages that includes the Spyder development environment, the IPython command line interpreter, and a web-based frontend for Jupyter. The focus is primarily on big data processing, predictive analysis, and scientific computing. The goal of the distribution is to simplify package management and software distribution.
