Academic Usage

Usage is only permitted for teaching purposes and for exercises in courses that are part of a curriculum or for bachelor's or master's theses.
Academic research and doctoral theses are excluded.

The COMSOL Multiphysics Classroom Kit License may be used on devices of the academic institutions within the scope of academic use (see above). For installation on these devices, please contact your responsible IT administrator.

In addition, use by means of so-called remote computing is also permitted. This includes the access via e.g. nwzCitrix or PALMA, but also the use on personal computers ("HomeUse"). In order to use the software, however, you must establish a connection to the university network via VPN. This is required to access the mandatory license server.
