Telephony

Service: The CIT is responsible for your telephone connection. Flexible options are available for use. If you have any questions, please send us an informal e-mail stating your department, room number and building. (Please note that removals must be applied for at least 14 days in advance to ensure a smooth process).

    Münster University: UNIFY Voicemail
    Note: This function must be activated via our Media and Phone Service.
    With your UNIFY telephone you forward incoming calls with the number "930" to your voicemail box. If you dial the number "930" and enter your personal PIN, you can make system settings. There are three ways to record, listen to or configure your voicemail:

  • Telephony: tips and tricks

    - Set the phone to silent: * - Press the button briefly, this then switches between ringtone and silent. A crossed-out bell appears on the display when the phone is silent.

    - Always reject all callers with a suppressed number: This can be requested via our hotline -31111 or by sending a ticket to km@uni-muenster.de.

    - Block unwanted callers: This can be requested via our hotline -31111 or by sending a ticket to km@uni-muenster.de. The last caller will be blocked in future by dialling a number combination.

    - Too few buttons on the telephone for speed dialling, additional lines, etc.: An additional module can be requested by sending a ticket to km@uni-muenster.de. This will be installed on site a few days later.

    - Phone is locked: This happens when the ‘#’ key is pressed too long. This can be unblocked via our hotline -31111. Alternatively, you can request a user device password to unlock the device yourself or make settings.

    Note: This function must be activated via our Media and Phone Service.

    • Up to 7 team members can be assigned to the telephone keys.
    • The keys light up when a team member makes a call.
    • Direct calls to team members are possible.
    • Calls are acceptable by team members.
