Matthias Löb

Matthias Löb studied law at the University of Münster from 1986 to 1992 and passed the second state law examination in 1996. In August 1996, Matthias Löb joined the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL), initially as a clerk in the Central and Personnel Department and the Hospitals and Health Care Department. After several positions at the LWL, Matthias Löb became the LWL’s first regional councillor and treasurer in 2010, which effectively made him deputy director of the LWL. In January 2014, the Regional Assembly of Westphalia-Lippe elected him as director. His mandate ended on 30 June 2022.

Matthias Löb has been a member of the Board of Governors of the University of Münster since 18 May 2023.
