Prof. Dr Hans-Jürgen Kirsch

Prof Dr Hans-Jürgen Kirsch studied and earned his doctorate and habilitation in business administration at the University of Münster.
After working for a time as a consultant for Henkel KGaA in Düsseldorf, he was appointed chair of the Department of Accounting and Auditing and served as the director of the Institute for Accounting and Auditing at the University of Hannover. Since 2005, Professor Kirsch has headed the Institute of Accounting and Auditing in the School of Business and Economics at the University of Münster.

He was a member of the University Senate from 2012 to 2018, chair of the Senate's Finance Committee from 2013 to 2018 and chair of the Steering Committee for University Sports from 2016 to 2018.
