Jürgen Kaube

Jürgen Kaube has been a member of the Board of Governors of the University of Münster since March 2008. Born in Worms in 1962, he studied Philosophy, Art History, German and Economics at the Freie Universität in Berlin.

After working for a time as a research assistant in the Sociology Department at the University of Bielefeld, he joined the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) in 1992 as a regular employee and became an editor in 1999. At the FAZ, he has been responsible for issues related to academic and educational policy and the social sciences since 2000. He has been the editor of the “Research and Teaching” page since 2008, and in 2015, he joined the FAZ executive publishing team.
