Technical and administrative departments

Every day, employees in technology and administration (MTV) work in the secretariats, workshops, laboratories and specialised departments to ensure that the university runs smoothly. They are constantly faced with changes and challenges in their day-to-day work.

Targeted training courses help you to master the respective tasks well and to gain new impetus for their realisation.

The tasks and challenges of day-to-day work are as varied as the professions of the employees in technology and administration themselves. The training needs are correspondingly diverse and yet there are many overlaps.
This was confirmed once again by a survey of members of the networks of secretaries (SUN), technicians and laboratory staff (lab-x-change) in September 2023. The survey results can be found on the intranet pages of the networks.

The University of Münster offers its employees a comprehensive range of services for many topics and issues. This can be found sorted by topic in the various sections of the overall programme (on the right). Various support offers are available to make it easier for employees to take part in training courses.

Here you will find a selection of events that are relevant for all office, laboratory or technical staff, but sometimes only for a specific target group.
