Internationalisation & languages
The University of Münster has become a multicultural working environment and continues to expand its international relations in all areas. The International Office, the central contact point for internationalisation at Münster University, promotes international exchange with a broad range of services and programmes.
As internationalisation becomes more and more important, so does intercultural sensitivity. In fact, intercultural competence is considered a key qualification for all University employees. The University of Münster provides training to employees on essential knowledge and skills required for international collaboration, and so doing, supports and promotes internationalisation efforts. The courses in this area help employees develop international communication skills and practical competence so that they can successfully interact with other cultures.
Our English training programme allows University employees to improve and diversify their English language skills based on their individual tasks and language levels. By promoting bilingualism in our administrative departments, we are actively promoting accessibility for our international employees, students and partners.
