A multimedia wall installation adorns the foyer of the Multiscale Imaging Centre (MIC), where our symposium takes place. This work is entitled “Auf|Lösung” (Re|Solution) and takes an artistic approach to the research carried out in the building. Following a short introduction by MIC spokesperson Prof. Michael Schäfers, the artist and professor of science illustration Cordula Hesselbarth, who has developed the installation, will provide us with artistic insights (presentation in German). At sunset, we will experience abstract light animations that are projected onto the twelve-meter-high relief while enjoying drinks and music.

We will make photo and video recordings during the event for public relations purposes.
