Equal opportunity in our research network
The Collaborative Research Centre 1450 “inSight” is a community of researchers motivated by common scientific topics and goals. We see collaboration as characterised by the provision of equal opportunities for people in all their diversity and with their various perspectives, as an incubator for creative and productive research and as an enrichment of our daily work. We want all members of our network to have the opportunity to fully develop their skills and make meaningful contributions.
In order to come as close as possible to this ideal and reduce and compensate for inequalities in structural preconditions, our network has installed an Equal Opportunity Committee, which is composed of representatives from all career levels and participating faculties. This committee develops our network’s strategy for advancing equality, designs appropriate activities and allocates the funds that the German Research Foundation makes available to us for measures in this field of action.
