"Collaboration Talks on Glycobiology": Online events bring together researchers from Brazil, Germany and Argentina
"Collaboration Talks on Glycobiology" is the title of the series of two events focusing on the topic "Glycobiology" organised by Prof. Dr Martin Götte, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of Münster (UM), and Dr Jessica Onyeisi, postdoctoral fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) at the same department. The events are being held with the support of the University of Münster's Brazil Centre and will take place online in March and April 2024.
The Talks will bring together leading names in the field of Glycobiology from Germany, Brazil and Argentina, who will present their respective research and be able to discuss it with the other speakers and answer questions from the audience. Thus, the aim is not only to create a favourable environment for initiating cooperation between the participants but also to spark relevant discussions between the experts from the participating countries.
The "Collaboration Talks on Glycobiology" series was initiated by Dr Jessica Onyeisi, a fellow of the renowned Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH).
Dr Jessica Onyeisi is currently carrying out her postdoctoral research on the role of syndecan-4 in the breast cancer tumor microenvironment at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Münster (UM) under the supervision of Prof. Dr Martin Götte.
