The University of Münster and FAPESP publish new joint call within the SPRINT program
The federal funding institution in São Paulo FAPESP and the University of Münster have once again published a joint SPRINT call (SPRINT: São Paulo Researchers in International Collaboration). Under the SPRINT program, researchers from the University of Münster and the state of São Paulo can apply for seed funding in order to prepare joint research projects through reciprocal visits and workshops, with the aim to apply for funding for these joint research projects at FAPESP and, for example, the German Research Foundation (DFG). On the Brazilian side, only scientists who are already funded by FAPESP may submit SPRINT applications.
FAPESP will provide up to 10,000 euros per project. The University of Münster will also contribute up to 10,000 euros per project, whereby 50% of University´s funding will be provided by the Brazil Centre and 50% shall be co-financed by the researchers with other funds (institute, department, third-party funds or others).
The call is open to all disciplines. The application deadline for submissions is February 26, 2024.
