Applying for BAPS in 2025: preliminary information

The application period for the M.A. BAPS programme at the University of Münster for the 2024/25 academic year has ended. For the 2025/2026 academic year, the portal will open in early May 2025 and we recommend that students from abroad plan to apply in the first week of May 2025 to receive early admission and expedite the visa process.

Please note that we do not accept new students in the summer term; the next admissions period is for the 2025/2026 academic year starting in the winter term.

The new BAPS cohort (welcome!) has been undertaking excursions as part of the class Colloquium Text, Book and Culture, taught by BAPS program leader Professor Norrick-Rühl. This week, the group visited the university’s Bible Museum, which has a replica printing press. The students were given a hands-on introduction to early modern printing, including the opportunity to print their own sheet.
