As a member of the China-NRW-University Alliance, students and doctoral candidates of the University of Münster (all disciplines) can apply for the ‘Summer School for Chinese Language and Culture’ for beginners and advanced students at the renowned Tongji University in Shanghai: More information about the course

 

 

  • Period of the Summer School

    • 1 - 29 August 2025

  • Programme

    • Mornings:
      Intensive language course (72 hours) for beginners and advanced learners
    • Afternoon and weekend programmes:
      Company visits, cultural and historical programmes, excursions.

  • Costs

    • Flight and visa
    • Course fee: approx. 550€ (to be updated)
    • Accommodation: €25 per day/person, double room (for early/late check-in as a single person €50/room)

  • Visa information

    38 countries, including Germany, are eligible for China's visa-free entry policy. Passport holders from these countries can enter China without a visa and stay in China for up to 30 days.

  • Programme registration

    Please register here for the Chinese Language Summer School at Tongji University in Shanghai. The registration deadline is 28 February 2025.
