Improvement of motor functions in nursing home residents

New paper published in experimental gerontology. In a randomized controlled trial, multicomponent exercise was choosen to improve motor functions, cognition and well-being for nursing home residents who are unable to walk. A chair-based intervention over 16 weeks was able to improve those functions in very old age.
