The Graduate Centre offers interested doctoral students the opportunity for interdisciplinary continuing education, career planning and networking. Among other things, various workshops are offered and information on research funding and scholarships is provided. They also provide information for international students.
The Career Service supports students with its range of seminars, information and advice on forming a professional profile, reflecting on practical experience and acquiring application strategies and techniques. For example, the Career Service offers an individual application portfolio check.
The Student Advisory Office can help you solve individual problems concerning your studies. They will also gladly offer advice about being a studying parent, disabled student, or a student nursing a relative.
The SAFIR Research Funding Advisory Service helps students at University of Münster with support in their search for funding opportunities. In addition, SAFIR advises on various funding formats and the submission and optimization of applications.
The General Student Committee (AStA) is the elected representation of the students at Münster University. In addition to various advisory services, the AStA offers the certification of official documents.
The AStA also includes the doctoral students' representation, which supports the interests of the status group and helps you with problems related to your doctorate. In addition, it regularly organizes events where you can get to know other doctoral students (including those from other disciplines).
