Prof. Dr. Michael Klasen appointed Visiting Professorial Fellow

The University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia, has appointed Prof. Michael Klasen, Director of the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Münster, Visiting Professorial Fellow effective October 1, 2022. At the same time, he has been awarded the Gordon Godfrey Fellowship of the School of Physics for the year 2022.
Together with Prof. Yvonne Wong, member of the Australian Cluster of Excellence on Dark Matter, Prof. Klasen will spend will spend four months in Sydney researching this still unknown matter, which is five times more abundant in the Universe than the matter we know. "I am very pleased to receive this award, which also enables young scientists from our Research Training Group to establish contacts with excellent scientists in Australia," explains Prof. Klasen. "This is also an opportunity for the University of Münster as an institution to strengthen the cooperation with Australia, especially with UNSW and in the natural sciences."
