Welcome to the
Professor Dr. Anika Schlenhoff
Our group is interested in the correlation of structural, chemical, electronic, magnetic and opto-electronic properties on the atomic length scale. We apply (spin-polarized) scanning tunnelling microscopy (SP-STM) and spectroscopy (SP-STS) in combination with novel in-house developed scanning probe methods to low-dimensional (magnetic) solid state systems, in particular to graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides and their related hetero-, hybrid-, and nano-structures.
