Paramters of the IR converter

The IR converter features the following properties (more detailed description of the experiments are given in the category "Research"):

  • Temporal resolution down to 50 ns,
  • frame rates up to 20 billion fps (frames per seconds),
  • spatial resolution up to 8 lp/mm (line pairs per mm),
  • effective number of pixels 275 x 275,
  • dynamic range of at least 4 magnitudes,
  • spectral range from 1.1 to 3.5 µm (expandable up to 11 µm),
  • aperture of 25 mm,
  • detectivity of 10^19 - 10^11 cm*Hz^(1/2)/W (at 2.0 - 2.5 µm),
  • operating temperature of the detector between 80 and 120 K.
