A: In your portfolio, you document your learning process for Module 2, where you can choose from a variety of formats. You will need to submit one 1,500-word essay on your critical reflection of your experiences with North American history and culture (museum tours, travel to North America, internship, cultural events, guest lectures, etc.); and one blog-style essay of about 1,000 words. For both, please make sure to apply important concepts and ideas that you have encountered in your coursework.
Alternatively, you can also submit an additional essay related to North America (4,500 – 6,000 words) or have your BA or MA thesis count towards the certificate if it has a NAS focus.
