Topic for a Master thesis
A laborious calculation gave birth to some first solutions of the Dyson-Schwinger equations of the quartic matrix model. They have been interpreted as objects of low topology generated by the so-called blobbed topological recursion. The hidden structures within the solutions will give the opportunity of implementing a general algorithm for the construction of arbitrary higher topologies.
After having understood the mathematical foundations of this theory, which does not require any special knowledge, a suitable program shall be used to automate the topological recursion. This might be of interest for several areas of mathematics and mathematical physics. A successful performance of your project therefore may lead into a publication. If there is time left, you could participate in the analytic calculations of other group members.
