Geometrische Gruppentheorie
Gruppen sind algebraische Strukturen die verwendet werden um Symmetrien zu beschreiben. Sie sind die zentralen Objekte meiner Forschung. Um sie besser zu verstehen nutze ich oft topologische Methoden, aber z.B. auch Werkzeuge aus Kombinatorik, Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie und Logik.

Für den Artikel Non-vanishing unitary cohomology of low-rank integral special linear groups mit S. Hughes, D. Kielak und P. Mizerka haben wir Julia Code geschrieben, um Kohomologie von SLn(Z) mittels Voronoi Tesselierungen zu berechnen, siehe SLnCohomology.
