Categories

The structure of a publication is mapped in Imperia with the help of categories.
The categories have a tree structure with main category and sub-categories.

Each institution of the university can be assigned a main category, which it manages independently.
The category structure serves as the basis for navigation, and the categories are also used to control access rights and the layout of the stored documents.
For each entry in the main navigation you define a subheading of the main heading, which in turn can be further subdivided.

For each category, the user can specify a directory that will hold the created documents. Several categories can share one directory.
