Lecture course "Topological Cyclic homology", WS 2020/21

Topological Hochschild homology and Topological Cyclic homology are interesting invariants of rings with connections to stable homotopy theory, arithmetic geometry and algebraic K-theory. In this course,we want to give an introduction to this topic, based on the notes

Prerequisites are some familiarity with homotopy theory and homological algebra.

Format and Schedule

The lectures will be pre-recorded by us and uploaded to YouTube

In addition, we want to facilitate some interaction by having a weekly discussion session via zoom. This takes place Thursdays 12-14 (CET).

We also use a stackexchange-style forum

to post exercises and answer questions by participants. We strongly encourage everyone to participate.
