Digitalisation and optimisation of processes with SAP S/4HANA

SAP AG products play a prominent role in the digitalisation of companies. The SAP universe with products, customers and service providers is presented as the basics of the lecture. What questions arise for the various players when introducing/optimising company processes with the new ERP generation from SAP - S/4HANA? These questions are addressed on the example of typical practical processes (e.g. the " sourcing process" case study) and business requirements and their specific implementation with S/4HANA are presented.
An SAP system is available for a live demo of S/4HANA, which students can use to run through processes themselves and learn about them hands-on.
Students gain an overview of SAP products and application contexts and a practical insight into the implementation of selected business requirements with S/4HANA. Technical details of the data model and customising are not covered in this introductory course.

The lecture is held in German language.

Course format: Lecture with interactive elements and written exam

Target Group: Students and employees with an interest in the field of interaction between business management issues and their mapping in IT systems using the example of SAP S/4HANA.

Credit Points: 3 LP in the context of General Studies with successful participation in the final examination.
