Mattermost channels are organizational units subordinate to the teams, for example a working group. If you want to join a private channel, you must be invited to join it. You can also join a public channel without an invitation.
1. Join channel
Click on the "+" symbol on the left-hand side to search for a channel.
2. Search channels
You now have the option of searching for existing channels. To do this, click on “Search channels”.
3. select channel
Enter the name of the channel you are looking for (e.g. “IT-Betriebsmeldungen”) and click on the search result. You are now a member of the channel.
