In the event calendar you can manage your events and the associated dates. An event can consist of one or more dates.
Under the tab "Events" you can see all your already created (also past) events listed in a table, indicating the institution, title and the first date. You can search for events here as well as edit and delete your own events or sort them by title and dates. Via the button "Add" you can create a new event.
Enter the basic information of the event: institution, series title (if it is a series) and category and then click "Save".
If you check the "public" box, your event will be visible to other institutions and can be included in their calendars. This will also list your event on the WWU Newsportal calendar.
An event can contain multiple dates. If you check the "pinned" box, the current or future dates of the event will be displayed as top dates on your website by the corresponding Imperia module. This can take up to 15 minutes.
Now add the basic data of the event, for example the title, the short description and the location of the event. Under the item "URL" you can link the event website. Please add the complete link including the https:// here. Then click on "Save".
Specify the individual dates of the event (series). You can specify a start and end time for each, or leave the end open if it is not explicitly specified. Then click on "Save".
To add an organizer, you must first have created it via the "Organizer" tab (see the manual for "Organizer"). Once this has been done, you can link it to the event. The entry will be saved automatically.
If contact persons are stored for the linked organizer, you can add one or more of these contact persons. The entry is automatically saved when you click on the contact person. You can then exit the input mask.
Under the "Events" tab, you can see all the dates of the events or event series you have created (including past events up to a maximum of 2 years after creation) listed in table form with details of the institution, title, start and end of the event. You can search for events here as well as edit them (in the latter case the event opens under the tab "Events"). You have the possibility to filter the event overview by all, current and archived events.
