Martin Raubal: Mobility & Energy - GI Scientists: working to solve global challenges!

In recent decades a majority of our civilization has become a mobile (information) society. People's increased mobility has impacted many areas; one such area is global energy consumption. In this talk I will first highlight the problems and challenges regarding mobility & energy and then demonstrate how Geoinformatics can help in addressing them. Examples will cover human mobility analysis, mobile decision-making, and Renewable Energy planning.
