Dear Scientist,
the interest shown in the announcement of the 23rd International Symposium on Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds (ISPAC 23) has been great and thus we feel certain it will be an exciting meeting! Expect to meet many scientists working with this class of compounds in every area of chemistry and biology.
Today we would like to remind you to consider submitting an abstract next spring. To make your planning easier, here are the important dates for 2011:
March 1: | Electronic abstract submission opens |
June 15: | Deadline for abstract submission |

ISPAC 23 is organized under the auspices of ISPAC, a non-profit organization founded in 1993. Check its homepage www.ispac.org if you don’t know the society already.
The following statement of ISPAC defines its mission:
"The members of the Society encourage research on Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds (PAC), review, compile and disseminate information on PACs and provide leadership in the field of PAC research."
Anyone can become a member of this scientific society. Among the member benefits are
So if you plan to attend ISPAC 23, become a member of ISPAC and pay less!
You will find a form for signing up as a member for 2011 (and if you wish – at a yet further reduced rate – for 2012) in the attachment. Please fill it out and submit it to Taylor & Francis.
The journal appears five times a year in collaboration with the publisher Taylor & Francis. You are most welcome to submit your PAC work to the editor, Dr. Philippe Garrigues, even if you are not a member of ISPAC.
We are looking forward to a splendid meeting and invite you most cordially to join us in September 2011 in Muenster!
