International Mobility
The Faculty of Catholic theology at the University of Münster welcomes bachelor's and master's students, doctoral candidates and postdoc researchers, who have the option to work as fellows at one of the departments and chairs.
No matter whether you come for a semester or an academic year, whether you are pursuing a degree or wish to enrol as a regular student, the faculty offers a study programme at one of the major institutions for Catholic theology, embedded in a context of interdisclipinary and international research on religion. Here you will find an optimal setting for intensive study of the normative sources of the monotheistic religions, as well as materials on the most influential 20th-century theologians in the original language - using innovative methods and techniques of Digital Humanities. Furthermore, we continue to offer an increasing number of courses, seminars and lectures in English.
As an incoming student you will benefit from the University's excellent and award-winning social services. You will spend time in a city that is considered to have the highest quality of life in western Germany, proud of its character as a student city. And we hope you will be interested in enrolling one of the faculty's distinct study programmes: regular degree programmes (Mag. theol.; BA/MA/MEd), MA Studies in Christianity in Culture and Society (MA CKG) or Eastern Mediterranean Ancient Cultures (MA AKÖM), doctoral programmes (Dr. theol., Dr. phil.) or postdoctoral qualification (habilitation).
