Minor subjects for the MSc Mathematics

At present, the following subjects can be selected as minor subjects in the MSc Mathematics: Computer science, Logic, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Furthermore, the following subjects are admitted as minor subjects, which have a limited number of study-places in this context, i.e., if these subjects are chosen as minor subjects: Business Administration, Economics, Philosophy, and Psychology.

For some subjects, prior knowledge or the formal completion of the corresponding minor subject with a minimum number of credit points in the Bachelor's degree, as determined in the cooperation agreements with the other faculties or in the examination regulations, are needed.

Almost all modules in the minor subjects are taught in German. It is not possible to study any of the minor subjects in English exclusively.
