Abstract: Given a commutative noetherian ring with a dualising complex one has an involution on the lattice of thick subcategories of the bounded derived category coming from Grothendieck duality. This raises the (seemingly currently out of reach) questions: what does this action look like and which thick subcategories are fixed. I'll discuss the special case of complete intersections where one is able to give a complete description of this involution.
