In the talk I want to present an approach to the algebraic K-theory of arithmetic varieties based on a geometric description of K-theory classes and a differential form level description of their regulator classes. This leads to the notion of differential algebraic K-theory which may be seen as a variant of arithmetic K-theory. I also plan to give an example how this theory can be used to construct K-theory classes.
